The hillstation spot is located upon an
altitude of 3500' ft. above sea level. A walk through this region during
the monsoons may well be called as "a walk in the clouds". The hills
are lush green throughout the year.
The water table of the region is high even
during the summer. Plots which are touching the state highway and which
have scenic valley view are available for sale. The climate is similar to
Mahabaleshwar.

this spot is 55kms from the Pune Station. Light, water and telephone

The area has been recently declared MTDC
Zone (Tourism Development Zone). The soil in this region is red laterite
soil. The region is suitable for plantations of Mango, Bamboo, Jack fruit etc..
The rainfall is heavy in this region.
